Network Associates / PGP Security

PGP Security, a Network Associates business, has closed its doors since February 2002, and no longer develops, markets, or sells its PGP desktop products.

The command-line (non-GUI) version of PGP, which PGP Security sold under the name PGP E-Business Server, has been absorbed by McAfee, and is now McAfee E-Business Server. It runs on a variety of platforms, including Unix and OS390. To learn more, visit the McAfee web site.

As of 19 August 2002, the PGP desktop software and related intellectual property has been acquired from NAI by a new startup, PGP Corporation. It will now be possible to get PGP from PGP Corp, at their new web site at www.pgp.com.
