Tovaris
Tovaris, Inc. has created a server based PKI implementation for enterprises that solves the major problems faced in PKI implementation. Any user on a Tovaris system can email secure, encrypted email to anyone on the Internet. The Tovaris solution requires no client-side install and can secure the email of an entire site in one morning. Tovaris recognizes that e-mail security depends on interoperability between PKIs and public-key cryptography systems. Tovaris is adding OpenPGP to its Mithril Secure Server product, thus making Mithril appropriate in both PGP- and X.509-based PKIs. Mithril will have the capability to automatically choose between X.509 certificates and S/MIME, or PGP certificates and PGP/MIME. Additionally, Tovaris' SecureTier PKI is capable of storing, indexing, and delivering both kinds of certificates on demand. Users of Mithril systems will have the option of publishing X.509 certificates, PGP certificates, or both. The Mithril server will automatically use PGP encryption if it is available. Thus, using nothing more than the same e-mail software that they are used to using, Mithril users can communicate with both PGP and X.509 cryptography using individuals. No software to install on the desktop, no software to install on the mail server. Just on-the-fly encryption and decryption in the most popular encryption formats. This makes the Mithril Secure Server the new benchmark in inter-PKI interoperability. If you would like more information about our products and services, please visit our Web site.
