The OpenPGP Organization
The OpenPGP Organization was set up by members of the OpenPGP community attending the 2022 Email Summit. It was initially called “the keys.openpgp.org Organization” and was intended to provide community governance of the then-new keys.openpgp.org keyserver.
In 2026, following a poll of the voting members, it was renamed to the OpenPGP Organization and given oversight of the OpenPGP.org website and domain.
The OpenPGP.org website is operated by the members of the OpenPGP GitHub organization. The OpenPGP.org domain registration is held in trust by the Wau Holland Stiftung on behalf of the community.
